Arweave.Design

Arweave.Design is a webapp that allows you to build your own website easily and upload it onto the Arweave permanent blockchain.

Arweave.Design combines the powerful drag-and-drop web builder GrapeJS with Arweave's permanent storage blockchain to create a user-friendly platform for website creation and permanent web hosting.

The goal of this project was to make permanent web publishing accessible to everyone, regardless of their technical skills. Users can create websites with an intuitive drag-and-drop interface similar to platforms like Wix or Squarespace, but instead of traditional hosting, their sites are published to the Arweave blockchain—ensuring they remain accessible forever.

This approach solves several problems with traditional web hosting, including website takedowns, link rot, and the need for ongoing hosting payments. Once published to Arweave, websites become part of the "permaweb" and will remain accessible indefinitely.
